The Palmerston North Model Engineering Club Inc. was founded in 1977 and has around
60 members, ranging in age from 12 to 90 years. Over half are active modellers
in the fields of railway modelling, tool making, and other light engineering activities.
The rest are interested in the social aspects of the club. We have an active committee
that promotes the club and keeps the meetings interesting and informative .

to check what the club is doing on the 4th Thursday each month and when
the public running days are at Marriner Reserve Railway. Some of the members
take their locomotives to other clubs around New Zealand to run on their tracks.

also shows the dates of open weekends that our members are likely to attend.
The clubs monthly newsletter is The Generator.
It is published both in hard copy and electronically on this website. It is posted out to members seven days before the monthly clubnight to keep them informed about the
location and subject of the upcoming meeting.

The annual membership fees are modest at $30.00 for Full
membership, $15.00 for Country or
Junior membership. You can print the online form, for you, or your friends, and post it to the secretary at the address below.
